Bornagodaz is one of the leading companies in the field of production of consumer anodes in the water and wastewater treatment and industrial wastewater industries, oil, gas and petrochemicals, and according to the industry’s need for covered titanium anodes (so -called DSA or MMO anodes), the project in 2011 Construction of this type of anodic began in the Borna group. With various laboratory tests in reputable centers as well as field tests fully in accordance with domestic and international standards, finally at the beginning of 2014 the industrial production of these animals, which are competitive with European products, began.
As the largest domestic producer of MMO anodes, Bornagodaz is currently producing a variety of anodes (pipes, ribbon, wires, sheets, meshes, etc.). Is.
In the alkali chlorine industry, three electrolyte processes are usually used to produce chemicals for chlorine, caustic soda and hypochlorite.
1. The mercury cell process (amalgam)
2. Diaphragm cell frame
3. Membership cells
In all three processes, the salt water solution is electrolyzed by direct electric current and converted to chlorine in the anode of chlorine.
The reaction is as follows:

2nacl+2H2O ⇒ CL2+H2+2naoh

In all methods, chlorine (CL2) is produced in a positive electrode (anode) and hydrogen (H2) and sodium hydroxide (NAOH) are produced directly or indirectly in the negative electrode (cathode). Membranes, diaphragms, or mercury are put in accordance with the process to separate the anode and cathode product.

1. Mercury Cell Freight (Amalgam)
In the process of the chlorine process, the mercury cell is a liquid mercury cathode and pure brine flows simultaneously into the mercury cell. It produces an electrolyte process in the chlorine gas anode chamber and produces in the cathode chamber.
The chlorine collected from the anode is pressed and packed in the bottle. Sodium produced by mercury mixes amalgam. Amalgam reacts with water to produce hydrogen gas and caustic soda. Before the caustic soda is stored, mercury, hydrogen and caustic soda are separated. The MMO anode is used in mercury cells in different types.

2. Diaphragm cell frame

Diaphragm cell technology is one of the electrolyte processes in the chlorinekal industry. In the diaphragm cell process, a permeable asbestite -based diaphragm is used to separate anode products from cathode products. The saturated brine enters the anode part, where the chlorine gas is released. The aperture only migrates sodium ions from the anode to the cathode chamber.
The chlorine collected from the anode chamber is pure by liquid and evaporation. Industrial caustic soda is produced from cathode brine collected from the cathode chamber.

3. Membership soluble
Membrane cell technology is a new process in alkali chlorine systems. In the process of membrane cells, it is used to separate the anode products from the cathode products from a membrane. The brine is inserted into the anode of the cell and chlorine gas is produced from there. This membrane allows the migration of sodium ions from the anode chamber to the cathode chamber. As sodium ions can pass through the membrane to the cathode, the caustic soda (NAOH) contains a much lower amount of sodium chloride, and therefore the salt removal equipment required in the diaphragm cell process is not required here.

The previous technologies used in the alkali chlorine process included the use of mercury cells and aperture, which are almost abandoned due to environmental contamination concerns, and a few of these systems are working. Currently, newer factories are moving towards newer technologies, including modeling technology.
There are a variety of MMO anodic cells coated with mixed metal oxide (MMO).
