Installing the rectifier transformer on the foundation is done according to the following steps:
A reinforced concrete foundation with dimensions of 30x100x150 cm, inside which galvanized pipes for cable passage (according to the map) are built, then a pit with dimensions of 20x130x180 cm is dug and the bottom of the pit is regulated. compacted, then pour 10 cm of concrete except for the bottom of the pit (be careful not to pour concrete in the place of the galvanized pipes of the foundation). Next, place the concrete foundation on the concrete (note that the location of the galvanized pipes under the foundation, which does not contain concrete, must be dug) and install the rectifier transformer on the predicted location on the foundation. (Fixing the rectifier transformer is also done with special concrete expansion bolts). Then the cables are passed through the galvanized pipes and the termination of the rectifier transformer cables is done. If the rectifier transformer is an oil-cooled type, fill the special oil up to the specified place inside the tank and be careful not to mix water or other substances with the said oil. Finally, if the rectifier transformer has a shade, the shade is also installed.
Requirements for installing a rectifier transformer:
Cable entry in galvanized pipes should be filled with special foam.
If the rectifier transformer is installed on the ground with loose or wet soil, the height of the foundation should be considered 60 cm.
The level of the installation location of the rectifier transformer should be observed.
According to the dimensions of the base of the rectifier transformer, the dimensions of the foundation may also be different.
If the rectifier transformer is installed inside the electrical room, all the installation steps are performed as described above, except for the concrete foundation with galvanized pipes.
